At the corner of Dequindre and 11 Mile, The Coach Sports Grille formerly the Coachman Lounge has been a fixture for over forty years, the longtime crew works hard to make “The Coach” a neighborhood gathering place; no matter what neighborhood you call home.

The Coach's kitchen is always a hub of activity. A sumptuous assortment of appetizers, sandwiches, pizzas, salads, & pastas greet you each day. Every dish is cooked to order and served fresh. The "Coach Special" is our signature sandwich; a triple decked stack of lean Grobbel’s Corned beef with Swiss cheese, slaw and special horsy sauce, served on grilled rye. The Coach’s Ground Rounds are a hand-made patty of ground chuck, cooked to order on a toasted sesame seed bun with fresh toppings. The Coach’s pizzas are also popular favorites, each hand tossed round pizza is baked in a brick oven to give them an authentic Old World taste. The Coach’s kitchen is open Monday through Wednesday from 11:00 am until 10:00 pm and Thursday & Friday from 11:00 am until 11:00 pm. Saturday from 4-11 pm. With such a variety of appetizers, sandwiches and entrées, there’s never an excuse to leave hungry.

The Coach also features one of the area’s most popular Happy Hours. Relax and enjoy daily drink specials on drafts, domestic bottle beer and well drinks from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Monday through Saturday. You’ll notice several people unwinding by playing Club Keno as The Coach features one of the top ten places in Oakland County where people play this popular lottery game.
